New Client Inquiry

Thank you for your interest in working with Paths Psychiatric Services, LLC.

Please take the time to read over the following information before submitting your new client inquiry.

We only work with adult clients (age 18+).

Please send any questions/concerns to intake@pathspsychiatricservices.com. This is a secured, HIPAA-compliant e-mail address.

Your intake session will not be scheduled until all paperwork/intake requirements are completed electronically.

This includes uploading your insurance information onto Headway or Alma and putting a debit/credit card on file for your copay or coinsurance. Copays or coinsurance are collected at the time of session.

PRIVATE PAY/OUT-OF-NETWORK CLIENTS:

Per our policy, a $100 deposit is required to book your intake session. It will be applied to the total initial session fee. This fee is refundable if you cancel with more than 24 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the fee is non-refundable. Your deposit must be paid at the time of booking - any deposits unpaid after 24 hours will result in the intake session being cancelled. A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for missed session/late cancellation fees.

INSURANCE CLIENTS:

We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid. If you have Medicaid, Medicaid does not allow you to pay for sessions via private pay. A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for copays and missed session/late cancellation fees. Your copay or coinsurance is collected through our billing partners, Alma (for Cigna, Aetna, and Optum/Oxford/UHC) or Headway (for Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ). It is required that credit cards are enrolled in AutoPay for covering these fees.

**We do NOT prescribe any controlled substances.**
We do not manage active substance use disorders or psychosis.

All intake sessions must be held in-person at my office in Clinton, NJ. Follow-up sessions can be held via telehealth, if preferred. For telehealth sessions, you must be physically located in NJ during the time of the session.
